I thought and prayed much of yesterday about the readings from church Monday from Matthew 25:31-46.

When did I see you hungry, when did I see you thirsty, when did I see the stranger, when did I see you naked, when did I see you ill, when did I see you in prison? All of these thoughts rolled through my head and prayers yesterday. I pray and share:

Dear Heavenly Father,

Please help me to see as you see, and to hear as you hear. I often don’t see those in need. I need Your love and guidance to see as you see. Help me to not just see, but to look and seek out. Please help me in my selfishness and humble me to really look for ways to show your love to those in need. And, give me the motivation and put me into action.

Today I listen to the song “Give me your eyes” by Brandon Heath and use it as my prayer and motivation today. I encourage you to join me. Peace and blessings on your day.

In the Mighty Name of Jesus I pray and ask these things; Amen.
