Sunday Reflection 10-20-2024
Dear Heavenly Father,
Let me start out this quiet Sunday morning with gratitude and thanksgiving for the blessings and gifts which you so generously bestow over my life. The gifts of health, family and friends, peace, joy and security allow me to lack much worry, anxiety and stress. Life has not always been that way and I thank You for Your faithfulness and guidance during the times of trial, sadness and worry. I knew I was never alone.
As I reflect back over the past week, I look at where I may have done better, acted more kindly, more patiently and perhaps offered more of myself. I also thank You for that still small voice that I heard and reacted to and did follow Your will and direction.
In this week ahead, I ask that You continue to guide my steps, help me walk the narrow way and seek Your will. Please keep me calm, peaceful and grounded as the noise, chaos and temptations of daily life in the world try to ruin my pure intentions. Keep me safe from all harm, physical and spiritual.
Lastly, let me take a few moments today and offer thanks for the blessings You so generously give, that I haven’t earned, but You so lovingly give.
In the Mighty Name of Jesus I pray; Amen.
