Dear Father God,
Thank You for waking me up today in all of the safety and comforts You provide. There are many who will not know safety or comfort today. Please bless them and provide them Your strength and comfort.
There is so much turmoil in the world these days. The world needs Your peace. The people and leaders of the world need Your peace. Soften our hearts and bring us peace. Help us to set aside all those evils that bring about war, turmoil and destruction.
In this Lenten season, where we pray and reflect how You saved us from sin, we once more need Your help. Let us love one another as You have demonstrated and commanded, soften our hearts and bring us peace. In the Mighty Name of Jesus I pray and ask these things; Amen.
