Refocus 1-11-2024

Dear Heavenly Father,

The last week or more has been full of unexpected events. Two major snows, bad roads, planning for my mom’s birthday and a host of other issues. All of this has kind of derailed a lot of the plans I had for the new year.

Today, I pray that You help to me refocus on the new thoughts, habits and activities I was so eagerly planning a few days ago. It is easy for all of us to get busy and distracted, especially when it comes to do new and perhaps difficult things. Give me the focus, grace and determination to get back on track. Please help us all to stay engaged on whatever new activities we are planning for the new year.

Help us to avoid distractions and give us the strength and will to follow through. Let us hear Your voice and feel Your guidance to make the changes You would have us make.

Today, with Your guidance and assistance, I pledge to reengage in all of the plans I have for 2025 to become the best version of me. I can only do this with Your loving help and encouragement. Help me to allow You to be my coach, support and guidance in this new year.

In the Mighty Name of Jesus I pray and ask these things, for me and for all; Amen.
