Dear Father God,

As the last day of the new month unfolds, I reflect upon all that I was wanting to do and get started for the new year. In some areas, I am doing well and making progress, though in other areas, I have failed.

As the new month starts tomorrow, bless me with the discipline and Your grace to start again. help me to avoid the old habits and distractions that lead me to inaction and complacency. Light a fire in me to boldly and actively make the changes I am wanting to make. may Your Spirit guide me and move me to action.

I alone cannot do all that You want me to do. Please lead me, guide me….and push me when I need a nudge. Help me this new month to get back on track and provide me with the strength and discipline to do YOur will. In the Mighty Name of Jesus I pray and ask these things; Amen.
