Time 10-18-2024

Dear God,

The last few minutes, I have watched and listened to my desk clock count away the seconds of my life. While I watched and listened, I pray that I make good use of the time You bless me with.

Help me to understand and utilize the time I have in ways to do Your will and advance Your kingdom. Help me to be bold and courageous and engage in meaningful discussions about serving You, making time for prayer and reflection and reading Your Word.

Help me also to find balance in all the demands of my time. Good sleep and exercise have to be included in my time allotment. Time for intellectual pursuits need to be on my list. Steer me toward activities, books and media sources that stimulate my mind and my heart.

Lastly, help me to be attuned to Your guidance and will to actively listen and follow Your direction.
